This fall my brother built me an awesome bike. (You didn’t know that Brian builds custom bikes? Then check out Chapman Cycles now!) I pretty much just asked for a bike I can ride around (with the kids and without), gave him a rough idea what I was looking for (including the color), and turned him loose.
He came back with such an awesome and beautiful bike! It’s almost hard to believe that metal tubes can be turned into the bike I now ride. (Luckily there’s video proof he actually did make it…) Before I could get my hands on it, he showed it off at various bike shows and events including the New England Builders Ball and the Philly Bike Expo, where it was well received.
I can’t even fully appreciate all the little details and the amount of work that went into my bike but I do love to ride it, and that’s what’s most important, right? (That, and the fact that my check cleared…)
