For last year’s project 365 I used an iPhone app called My365. It’s made by a Japanese company, and as a result there a lot of Asian users. In many of the photos, people flash the peace sign in addition to (or instead of) smiling at the camera. I find it somewhat bizarre, and I haven’t been able to find a definitive reason for it online. Does anyone know?
