If you’re like me, you often come across an article, blog post, YouTube video, or other web page that you want to read but don’t have the time at the moment. I’ve wanted some way to be able to mark a page to read later…something better than my current method of dragging a bookmark to …
Are you one of those people who have friends who keep telling you to watch The Wire? (Yeah, I’m talkin’ to you Liz.) Well, just do it. While the final season is running on HBO now, I just finished watching season 3 tonight (watching TV on DVD is the best reason to join Netflix) and …
Ah yes, today is the official beginning of spring training! And I’m not sure if I feel good or nervous that, just like me, Josh Beckett could benefit from doing some sit-ups…
One of my new favorite shows is Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! It’s pretty random and absurd, but also (I think) pretty damn funny. No more of his non-stop drivel, drowning out Joe Castiglione who, on more than one occasion, seemed to tune Glenn out during broadcasts (just like I tried to do). Hopefully that means Dave O’Brien will take over full-time with …
Awesome page of The 30 Greatest Hip Hop Drum Breaks & Samples of All Time, with samples of each. A great list, with the only glaring omission being James Brown’s “Funky Drummer” (how was that one overlooked?). If you’re into rap (especially late 80s/early 90s stuff) you should recognize most of ’em.
